Our first day through Yellowstone with Puna and Papa we didn't see much wildlife. All day long if Lily wasn't asking for Papa she was asking to see an animal. Driving back through on our way home we saw so many animals. It was a great morning.

Lily loves buses. When she saw this yellow retro-style tourist bus she wanted to take a picture with it.

This is as close as I would let her get to the buffalo. She wanted to pet them. Yikes!

They were everywhere.

This is Tower Falls. It was better in person. Just gorgeous.

This was a little hot spring that I spotted while driving. We climbed out and touched the river water. Even across the river from the spring the water felt warm.

Just five miles before leaving the park we spotted these elk crossing the river. There were about 12 of them. The tourists got way too close to the poor animals. You can see how close in the photo below. Why can't people respect wildlife?

Lily was happy to see so many buffalo, deer, and elk on this day. We need to go back as a family and show Daddy all the wonderful things we saw.
