Bear World

I just love this picture of Puna and Annie so I had to put it first. Wish I could squeeze the screen!

After Puna and Papa's Harley trip ended they came to visit us before going home. We decided to go to Yellowstone Bear World. It is only a few minutes from our house but we've never made the time to go.

Lily was the official map keeper. She always had to hold the map! The speed limit inside Bear World is only 3mph so we let Lily sit up front with the grandparents to get a better view.

Check out this wolf and black bear. They were so close to each other.

These sweet cubs were near the petting zoo. They were so active and fun.

The highlight for Lily was the rides. It was a hot day so getting to feel a breeze while on the rides was nice. But after riding each ride three times, most of the adults were ready to call it a day.

Lily especially loved riding the "toaster". And she wanted to ride it with Papa.

We cooled off with some huckleberry ice cream. Yummy!

We had to convince Lily to leave the rides and try the petting zoo. She wasn't too sure about it at first.

But then she warmed up to the animals. This little deer got too aggressive and knocked Lily over when she ran out of food. After that, we decided to go home.

Bear World is really a neat place. It was more than we expected. We saw so many animals and the petting zoo was great. We will make a visit to Bear World an annual event from now on. Thanks for the fun visit Puna and Papa!
