I had wonderful week with our darling girls. We played together a lot. Annie took her first steps on the 24th! She was trying to steal a snack from Lily. Since then Annie has only ventured a few other steps, but she will be up and around in no time.
We had a play date at Jefferson Lake with my friend Cathy and her little girl Sarah. Annie loved the sand and miraculously didn't try to eat it. Lily had more fun on the playground, but did try to play in the water and got to ride in a little boat.

Puna and Papa finished their Harley trip and came to play with us before going back to Washington. Sunday night Puna made us a wonderful dinner and let Lily help make my favorite cake - angel food with fresh lemon icing. Then we played a fun game and put together a puzzle before the girls went to bed.
It was hard to say goodbye, but we are thankful for the time we got to share. It means so much to Lily so see her grandparents.
