Four Months

Lily is four months old now. She had a great check up at the doctor. We are all happy that she has finally started putting on weight. She is at 13 1/2 pounds now. It is nice to see some chub in her cheeks. I went upstairs to get her from her nap and found her snuggling with her monkey from Puna and Papa. She looked so cute I just had to take some pictures. The hot pink blankie she is lying on is her favorite blanket for sleeping and snuggling.

What Lily is doing now:
Blowing bubbles and razzberries
Smiling and Laughing - especially when Mommy and Daddy tickle her
Rolling over - still working on this one, but she'll do it when she's motivated to get something
Screaming and shrieking
Crying when someone other than Mommy holds her
Grabbing for objects
Growing more hair
Trying to sit up
Chewing on anything she can get her hands on

So we know you all just come to the blog to look at pictures of Lily. Here are a few from a recent photo session.

One happy Q-Ball!

Is this the prettiest-pretty-princess or what?

A Visit With Family

While in Washington early this month, I made sure Lily met all of her living great-grandparents. She also met some of her 2nd cousins on the Wanner/Simmons side of the family. It is so difficult to get multiple children looking in the same direction. Oh well! Mommy was glad to see her cousins and grandparents. She missses her family and is thankful for times like this when we can visit together.

This is Lily with her 2nd cousins Elijah and Emren. They were due at about the same time, but the boys decided to make an early appreance for their turn on earth. You'd never believe how small they were by the size they are now. We didn't plan the stripes.

This is us with Great-grandma Nona. She is Papa Wanner's mom.

Lily with Papa Gomes. He is Puna's father. Granny Joey was sick this day so we didn't get a photo with her, but we did manage a great four generation shot earlier in the visit. It is in another post on this blog.
