Sunday evening we pulled our first carrot out of the ground and showed it to Lily. She was more interested in the carrot greens than the dirty orange carrot. But the dog was not fooled.
She snatched that carrot away as quickly as she could and ate the whole thing in no time flat.
Then Akela and Lily had some wrestle time. We still can't believe how sweet and gentle the dog is with Lily.
Akela lets Lily crawl all over her.
