Boise Temple Open House
During the years we lived in Meridian, ID the Boise Temple was our temple. It was recently closed for major renovation and remodeling. When we discovered that it would be open to the public while we were in Boise for the kids' birthday we knew we had to take the girls. Children under 12 are not usually permitted to enter LDS temples so this was a precious opportunity to teach our girls about the temple. Open houses are held for every new temple that is built and for every temple that is remodeled. We were amazed at how much the interior changed - and improved. It was beautiful. Unfortunately they were expecting a large number of people that day so our tour was very short. I wanted more time to talk to the girls and utilize the teaching opportunity. I think they still enjoyed the tour and exploring the grounds. I hope they always love the temple.

What a special day! The girls eyes were a big as plates at all the beauties of the temple. I hope they remember it always.
