Lily loves pumpkins. Maybe because since birth we've called her "Punkin", "Pumpkin Pie", "Pumpkin Pooper"......anyway, she was thrilled to carve her first pumpkin this year. Mommy did all the hard work of cleaning and gutting the pumpkins. Then we let Lily choose the shapes she wanted to use as features on the face. Lily's pumpkin has the triangle eyes. Daddy's looks surprised or scared. Next year we will carve them earlier. We only got two nights to enjoy them before Halloween was over. Lily loves blowing out the candles at night and telling the pumpkins goodnight.
