We have a big announcement this week in our family. We are having another baby! I haven't been feeling great, but I also have not been too sick. Just really tired and a lot of heartburn and nausea. I am due on April 2nd. I have a feeling I'll be celebrating my birthday in the hospital this year. My doctor is willing to let me try a VBAC delivery eventhough I have already had two c-sections. I am hoping for a successful delivery because recovering from a c-section is difficult. This is a picture of our little cutie at nine weeks. We won't know the gender until November so stay posted!
Some fun at the park last Sunday evening. It wasn't cold - Annie just loves to wear hats.
On Labor Day we took a family bike ride on the greenbelt in Idaho Falls. The girls are starting to feel a little squished in the bike trailer now that Annie is bigger, but they still had fun.
We stopped at the temple and walked the grounds a little. We also enjoyed some downtown scenery before riding to a nice park for a picnic lunch.
After lunch, we took the girls down to the river to play. The beach is smooth lava rock. It felt warm and was really comfortable to sit and play on. Plus there was a nice little channel that the kids could splash in without being in the main current of the river.
Annie loved squishing the sandy mud between her little toes.
Our raspberries are really coming on. We've been making muffins, pancakes, and our new favorite - raspberry milkshakes! We had them four nights in a row. Annie really gets into her shakes........
On Thursday night, Daddy and Mommy built the girls a rocket ship out of cardboard boxes. We cut doors and windows and made triangle shaped rocket boosters on one end. The girls have been playing in it nonstop. It is really funny to hear the things they imagine.
Friday night we decided to make a cake. Not just any cake. A chocolate zucchini cake. Lily was mostly excited about the frosting. She really loves frosting and sprinkles.
That's all from us this week. We are feeling especially blessed and happy! Who wouldn't with a rocket ship, chocolate frosting and fresh raspberries?

Congrats! That's great news. I'm so happy for you and your family.
Congrats!! Hope you get to feeling better soon!
Funny--we just had a house/castle and 2 cars (all out of cardboard boxes (had to upgrade carseats last week--good boxes!) just tore it all down today because grandparents are coming in a few days and it's time to get the house in order. And recycling pickup is tomorrow ;)
Boxes are the best--I like your rocket ship--I think that will have to be our next one!
Congratulations! What a fun time for your family :). I think spring is a great time to have a baby!
So happy to be having a new grandchild! The best ultrasound pic ever! Love Annie's raspberry fest all over her face and hair...while wearing 2 different shoes of course! Adorable!
and don't forget a new baby on the way. Congrats! So glad your Dr will let you try a VBAC, I really hope it works for you, it is a much easier recovery than C-section, good luck!
OH I love Annie covered in raspberry milkshake and with 2 different shoes on, classic and so cute! Glad you had a great week!
