Sunday Shenanigans 03/04/12
Kind of a quiet week for us. Here is Lily learning to walk the beam. She is learning to balance better by having to step over rubber duckies then bend down to pet them. She really likes the duckies and it distracts her from her fear of falling off the beam.
We got snow nearly every day this week. It has felt more like Christmas this week than it did in December. The girls love to eat it and play in it. The snow was very dry and didn't stick together well so we didn't get to make a snowman. If only the wind didn't blow so much, we could stay out longer.
The girls had fun playing "robot" with a box. The circular holes were already cut into the box and made perfect eye holes for Lily. They were a little too far apart for Annie, but she wanted to try and be like sister.
Lily paints with watercolors almost every day. She was especially proud of this picture this week. It is a tall tree growing on grass with a gray cloud and a yellow sun.
Annie pulled a big shenanigan this Sunday in church. We sat down in our pew for Sacrament Meeting. We were early, the girls looked cute, everything was going smoothly.....then Annie turned around and threw up all over my chest and lap. Jeremy stayed at church with Lily and taught his Primary class. Annie and Mommy drove home, cleaned up, and Annie fell asleep for three hours. Daddy and Lily came home from church and both girls slept for another three hours. Hopefully the bug has passed. Mommy is not a fan of shenanigans that involve vomit.
In other news: Mommy has started regularly attending Zumba fitness classes. It is fun and they have a room the girls can safely play in so it is nice to exercise without kids climbing on me. We made an offer on a house back in January and have been waiting to hear back. We got news this week that our offer was accepted. The sellers are doing a short sale so we still need approval on the agreed upon selling price by the lending institution. Hopefully we'll be in a new home by April!
