I just washed, trimmed, and blanched all the beans and popped them in the freezer until they were a little icy.
Then I portioned them out and loaded 10 quart size freezer bags. All done! Jeremy prefers canned beans, but I like frozen much better.

Beans...beans...beans...
After picking the green beans in the garden this morning, I realized I had enough to can. But it is so hot in Boise right now I just couldn't bear to do it - so I took the easy way out.
I just washed, trimmed, and blanched all the beans and popped them in the freezer until they were a little icy.
Then I portioned them out and loaded 10 quart size freezer bags. All done! Jeremy prefers canned beans, but I like frozen much better.
