Six Months!

Ah, the infamous tongue. She always has it out when we go outside. We think she does it because she knows we'll laugh.

Cute bare baby feet and chubby little legs. Such a warm, wonderful day!

Lily is almost sitting up without assistance. She still needs to steady herself and tends to fall to one side or the other - rather than backwards. She likes to sit in grass so she can hold it to support herself.
Lily got to try out her first summer outfit and made it the whole day without socks because it was so warm.

Here's What is Happening at Six Months:
Favorite foods: Squash and Carrots
Favorite book: Ten Little Lady Bugs
Favorite song: You Are My Sunshine
Favorite place to go: Grandma’s House
Favorite time of day: When Daddy comes home
Thing she can’t live without: pacifier

Lily is getting very active, she loves: Playing the piano, sitting up by supporting herself, rolling over back-to-front, scooting backwards, reaching for and picking up objects, singing, to stick out her tongue, grabbing for her toes and putting her feet in her mouth, doing acrobatics in her sleep – we put her to bed in one direction and she ends up flipped over on her stomach in the opposite direction and at the opposite end of the bed. What is she doing in there at night?

My kids would cry at that age when sitting on the grass. They didn't like the feel of grass. I guess it was too scratchy. She is adorable and it looks like you are enjoying motherhood!

Look how green your grass is! Lily's cute, too, but that goes without saying.
